Merritt Spangler is an American-born multidisciplinary artist.
She has participated in international residencies including Joya AIR (Spain) and PADA Studios (Portugal), and in 2026 will attend Vermont Studio Center. In 2023, she was accepted and took part in the correspondence course for painters at Turps Art School in London.
Spangler has exhibited across the U.S. and Europe, with her solo exhibition Reckless Abandon debuting in 2024 at Shit Art Club in Los Angeles, and recent group shows at Site:Brooklyn Gallery (curated by Alina Cohen), BELHAUS (Phoenix), Visionary Projects (New York City) and Artnueve Gallery (Spain). In 2022, her work was selected by Delphian Gallery for the FAIR ART FAIR auction in London. She and her work have been featured in Plastikcomb Magazine, Floorr Magazine, Outside Magazine, All SHE Makes, Friend of the Artist, and Palette Talk,
In alignment with her lifelong commitment to fostering peace and creative expression, and when she is not in the studio, she serves as the CEO & Cofounder of Boggs AI and Founder & Director of Reizck Project. She volunteers with the American Red Cross in support of Disaster Relief Operations and also serves as an Ambassador for the Beirut-based nonprofit Beit el Baraka. She earned a BA in Psychology from Syracuse University and is pursing an MA in International Relations from American University in Washington, DC, where her research explores the role of art in conflict prevention.
